    Day 3 Dambulla

If the weather cooperates, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the lush forests from the summit before making your descent.     Day 6 Bandarawela

    Day 7 Bandarawela

    After several bustling days of travel, today invites you to slow down and savor the moment. Nestled in the hills, Bandarawela is a charming and unassuming town, quietly serving the tea plantation workers and their families. The town’s colonial heritage is beautifully preserved in its many historic buildings, such as the Bandarawela Hotel and the old supermarket. Begin your day with a leisurely morning stroll through the countryside, where you’ll pass tea workers carefully plucking the tender leaves and tossing them into the baskets on their backs.     Day 8 Udawalawe

    Start your day with a hearty breakfast before checking out at 8:30 am and embarking on a scenic drive to Udawalawe National Park, approximately a 3-hour journey. This park is renowned for its incredible diversity of wildlife, boasting the largest herds of wild elephants in Sri Lanka. After enjoying lunch, hop into a jeep for an exhilarating safari through the park. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of macaques, larger monkeys, spotted deer, crocodiles, and, if you’re lucky, even leopards. Following a delicious lunch, embark on an exciting jeep safari through the park, where you may encounter playful macaques, graceful spotted deer, lurking crocodiles, and even the elusive leopard.     Your Sri Lankan family holiday wraps up this morning after breakfast. With no activities scheduled for today, you are free to check out of the hotel by 12 pm and depart at your convenience.
