- Although Sri Lanka enjoys relatively stable temperatures year-round due to its equatorial location, the summer months can be exceptionally hot with brief, intense monsoons in the southwest. Remember to use adequate sun protection and stay hydrated.
- The Rock Fortress, also known as Lion Rock, in Sigiriya is truly breathtaking. However, if you have a fear or discomfort with heights, you might prefer to skip this particular adventure. Climbing the fortress requires navigating numerous steep, narrow steps and tight walkways.
- During our tour, we’ll explore temples that require modest attire. Please pack clothing that covers your arms and pants or skirts that extend below the knees. A light scarf is also recommended to cover your shoulders and arms when it’s hot.
- This trip may include extended traveling, with journeys lasting up to four to five hours. These long rides offer a wonderful chance to connect with locals, bond with fellow travellers, and soak in the diverse and beautiful scenery.
